Turning sports gear into opportunity

Donate Gear > Let Youth Play

Every child deserves the chance to play, dream, and belong

Gear to Grant is a nonprofit working to remove pay-to-play barriers in youth sports by turning unused sports equipment into opportunity. Across communities, millions of dollars of athletic gear sit unused while many families struggle to afford the rising costs of participation. Gear to Grant collects donated equipment, refurbishes it, redistributes equipment to rural and underserved communities, and converts excess inventory into funding for microgrants that help athletes cover registration fees, uniforms, tournament fees, and training costs. By connecting equipment reuse with direct financial support, the organization is building a circular system that expands access to sports for the next generation.
