Gear to Grant Partners with Faribault Soccer Club to Help More Kids Play
We are excited to announce a new partnership between Gear to Grant and Faribault Soccer Club to help more young athletes experience the joy of soccer.
Through this partnership, Gear to Grant provided a grant to support the club’s Tiny Feat and Little Feat programs. The funding helped provide shirts and soccer balls for more than 100 children between the ages of 3 and 8 during the 2026 season.
This partnership is especially meaningful to me because Faribault is the small-town community where I live. Soccer has always been an important part of my life, and I know firsthand how much being part of a team can mean to a kid. Every child deserves the chance to step onto a field, feel supported, and discover the confidence, friendships, and sense of belonging that sports can provide.
That is why I started Gear to Grant. Our goal is to remove the barriers that can prevent kids from participating in sports, whether by providing equipment or awarding grants to organizations already making a difference in their communities.
Faribault Soccer Club is one of those organizations. Its Tiny Feat and Little Feat programs introduce young children to soccer in a fun and welcoming environment while bringing families together. Together, Gear to Grant and Faribault Soccer Club are working to expand youth soccer opportunities for children in our community.
We are grateful to Faribault Soccer Club’s board members, coaches, volunteers, and families for allowing us to support this work. Seeing more than 100 kids take the field this season is exactly the kind of impact Gear to Grant was created to make.
Gear to Grant and Faribault Soccer Club share the belief that every child should have the opportunity to play, grow, and belong through sports. We are proud of what this partnership has already made possible and look forward to continuing to work together to create even more opportunities for kids in our community.
