Supporting Community First Soccer & Extra Smiles

Gear to Grant was grateful for the opportunity to support Community First Soccer and the work they are doing to make soccer more accessible to young players.

Community First Soccer hosts free soccer clinics that give kids the opportunity to get on the field, learn from experienced players and coaches, build their skills, and be part of a positive soccer community. Their commitment to removing barriers to participation closely reflects what we believe at Gear to Grant: every kid deserves the opportunity to play.

Through a Gear to Grant grant, we helped provide gear baskets filled with sports items to be given away during three of Community First Soccer’s summer clinics. The baskets added a little extra fun to the clinics and brought more smiles and excitement as kids had the chance to win new sports gear to take home.

While the baskets were only a small part of each clinic, we loved seeing how something as simple as new sports gear could add to an already special day.

We are thankful to Community First Soccer for the time and effort they put into creating these free opportunities for young athletes.

Gear to Grant is happy to play a small part in supporting their work and helping more kids get on the field and enjoy the game.
